poetry...

I started writing poetry in 1995 during a very stressful time in my life. Actually, it was more like I was channeling it. I would just be sitting there -- at home, at work, just about anywhere -- and suddenly I would have this whole poem just kind of "POP" into my head. At first it was weird. I didn't trust the 'voice', so I wasn't sure what to do. I have since learned that the best thing to do is to drop everything I'm doing, grab a pad and a pen, and write everything down as fast it comes.

After 5 years I have a pretty good collection of poems. I have added links to a few of them below. I plan to add new material from time to time, so check back often...
