Departure

I watched the world spin from beyond and
I became an observer.

My heart was ripped from my chest and
The world became a warm, velvety fog.

Floating silently amongst the crowd and family
The world became a vapourous, damp blur,

My soul was torn from beneath my hollow existance
The world became real.
