Reflective Depth
by brad
Your first glance reflected my
soul.
Like a mirror, you absorbed me,
Stealing it with a mere blink.
I am helpless now -- captured inside.
Your tenderness envelops and
restrains me,
Holding me hostage with a warm inviting touch.
I must find escape.
In your hands, my tangled
emotional refuge swiftly unravels,
While your deft fingers slowly twist loose ends,
Drawing me hard and close -- controlling my will.
I cannot break free.
Ancient, sacred doors explode,
Desecrated by a single tug from your captive
whisper.
I am breathless.
Fighting rapture no more,
Once softening binds tighten.
Smoldering ecstacy manifests deep.
I can no longer resist...
Thrashing wildly in your velvet
cage,
Tortured by such wonderful pain -- screaming for
more.
I succumb to your sinister charm.
Souls colliding, shaking violently
near the edge.
Ascending together, confronting the specter of
reality.
Spinning confounded as we reach the top,
Falling together -- grasping aimlessly for
foundation.
Falling fast, crashing hard,
We breathe deeply -- two once again.
Our binds have vanished.
Lying motionless in a pool of our
own madness,
Exhausted, drowning in sin.
You reach to pull me up, saving love.
My soul is reborn.
I read your mind you say.
That's not uncommon.
Flattery will indeed get you everywhere my dear.
